This site is an independent project focused on analyzing the local search modules in Google's leaked Content Warehouse API documentation. The leak happened in May 2024 and most of the coverage since then has been about organic ranking signals. We're looking at the local stuff.

The project started as one person going through proto definitions in late 2024. There are two of us now. We're not affiliated with any SEO agency or tool company. This is a side project.

We publish what we find when we feel confident enough in our interpretation to put it out there. We try to be clear about what we know and what we're guessing at. If we get something wrong, we'll correct it.
